Hand-Picked Cabins in Virginia's Blue Ridge

Escape to the Shenandoah Valley with our hand-curated collection of cabins, each chosen for its setting, its character, and the kind of stay it makes possible. From wraparound porches and hot tubs under starlit skies to stone chimneys and quiet mornings on the mountain, every Bluestone home is set up for the kind of weekend you'll talk about for months.

Boutique Care, Lasting Stays

Every Bluestone cabin is chosen the way you'd choose it for yourself: real character, a setting worth lingering in, and an interior that feels considered, not staged. Our local team in Front Royal manages the day-to-day so guests feel cared for and owners stay informed. Fresh linens, spotless hot tubs, fully stocked kitchens, and a team that actually picks up the phone. This is what a vacation rental looks like when someone genuinely cares how it runs.

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house. Our 1 year old son could play in the garden. A lot of equipment was available in the kitchen. Everything was clean, and the house matched with the pictures. Thank you Matt for the stay!

Great place cozy yet big enough for a family or medium size group. Hot tub and kitchen were definitely top shelf. Will definitely be staying here again when I’m looking to explore Virginia great wineries.

We had a great stay at Matt’s house. House is very comfortable with a large fenced in backyard and a hot tub on the deck which was terrific. Matt was very responsive to any questions and issues. We would definitely stay here again.

From check-in to check-out, our stay at the Hygge River House was perfect! The house was incredibly clean and well cared for. Our group had an amazing time just relaxing and being in nature. The hosts were extremely responsive, and are clearly passionate about hosting. 10/10, would recommend!

My husband and I really enjoyed the peace and tranquility that Matt’s place offered! The daily visits from the neighboring cows was also very nice! The house was clean, offered all amenities needed, and then some. Our dog also enjoyed the freedom of the fenced in yard. This is the second time staying at one of Matt’s properties and both were perfect! Will most definitely stay at his properties again in the future.

Book it! The home and grounds were as breathtaking as the photos. The home had everything we needed (from 6 years old to 60s) and was so cozy, yet had space for us all. The attention to detail was amazing. We felt bad leaving the home to go explore the area and National Park.

Our stay at Raven’s Ridge was wonderful!! The house and setting were exactly as described. We found Raven's Ridge to be spotlessly clean, tastefully furnished and decorated, comfortable and quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed the wrap around deck, nicely equipped kitchen, and the downstairs game and TV area. Having the loop trail on the property was a nice bonus as were the outdoor games. Best of all was that this lovely home had the best views from almost every room! It was hard to leave the house, but we did enjoy nearby hikes in the G. Richard Thompson WMA, wineries, and one day in Shenandoah National Park - all within a very easy drive. Matt was a great host - friendly and responsive. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it without hesitation.
