We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house. Our 1 year old son could play in the garden. A lot of equipment was available in the kitchen. Everything was clean, and the house matched with the pictures. Thank you Matt for the stay!
Great place cozy yet big enough for a family or medium size group. Hot tub and kitchen were definitely top shelf. Will definitely be staying here again when I’m looking to explore Virginia great wineries.
We had a great stay at Matt’s house. House is very comfortable with a large fenced in backyard and a hot tub on the deck which was terrific. Matt was very responsive to any questions and issues. We would definitely stay here again.
From check-in to check-out, our stay at the Hygge River House was perfect! The house was incredibly clean and well cared for. Our group had an amazing time just relaxing and being in nature. The hosts were extremely responsive, and are clearly passionate about hosting. 10/10, would recommend!
My husband and I really enjoyed the peace and tranquility that Matt’s place offered! The daily visits from the neighboring cows was also very nice! The house was clean, offered all amenities needed, and then some. Our dog also enjoyed the freedom of the fenced in yard. This is the second time staying at one of Matt’s properties and both were perfect! Will most definitely stay at his properties again in the future.
Cabin was beautiful it was nice for a get away, my girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay with our dog who also loved it! Location was up the mountain a ways but it was manageable.
10/10 everything! Love the experience, will return for sure !
Book it! The home and grounds were as breathtaking as the photos. The home had everything we needed (from 6 years old to 60s) and was so cozy, yet had space for us all. The attention to detail was amazing. We felt bad leaving the home to go explore the area and National Park.
Sublime location and excellent hose. One of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed in. Will be back.
Our stay at Raven’s Ridge was wonderful!! The house and setting were exactly as described. We found Raven's Ridge to be spotlessly clean, tastefully furnished and decorated, comfortable and quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed the wrap around deck, nicely equipped kitchen, and the downstairs game and TV area. Having the loop trail on the property was a nice bonus as were the outdoor games. Best of all was that this lovely home had the best views from almost every room! It was hard to leave the house, but we did enjoy nearby hikes in the G. Richard Thompson WMA, wineries, and one day in Shenandoah National Park - all within a very easy drive. Matt was a great host - friendly and responsive. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it without hesitation.

Mountain ridges, wineries, caverns, and small-town main streets that feel pulled from a postcard. This is the neighborhood your cabin calls home.
Your Shenandoah Backdrop

Mile-marker overlooks, mist rising off the ridges, and long views that feel earned.

Family-run vineyards on rolling hillsides, with tasting rooms and slow afternoons.

A small-town Main Street with old buildings, good coffee, and easy access to the Park.

Cathedral-scale rock formations carved over millions of years, just down the road.

Hundreds of miles of ridge-line hiking, with trailheads minutes from the cabin door.

Cider mills, farm stands, and country restaurants worth driving for.
