Shenandoah Twilight | Hot Tub + Sunset Views

Shenandoah Twilight is a peaceful two-bedroom mountain cabin just outside Front Royal, about 80 minutes from Washington, DC. Spend the day hiking, exploring Skyline Drive, or visiting nearby wineries, then come back to sunset views, a private hot tub, propane fire table, king bedroom, and comfortable outdoor spaces. It’s an easy couples getaway with enough room for a small family or group of four.

Shenandoah Twilight gets its name from one of our favorite moments at the cabin: watching the evening light settle over the mountains from the hot tub. Inside, the layout is comfortable and uncomplicated, with two bedrooms, one full bathroom, an open living area, and everything you need for a few days in the Shenandoah Valley.

🍽️ Gather

The main living area brings the kitchen, dining space, and living room together, making it easy to spend time as a group without feeling crowded.

The living room has comfortable seating, an electric fireplace, and a 50-inch TV for evenings in. The kitchen is fully equipped with full-size appliances, cookware, bakeware, and small appliances, whether you’re making breakfast before a hike or dinner after an afternoon at the wineries.

🛏️ Rest

The cabin sleeps up to four guests across two bedrooms.

The primary bedroom has a king bed, while the second bedroom has a full bed. The bathroom includes a custom tiled walk-in shower, and the washer and dryer are tucked into the back bedroom closet for added convenience.

The layout works especially well for couples who want a little more room, while still comfortably accommodating a small family or group of friends.

Outside is where Shenandoah Twilight really earns its name.

Start with coffee on the porch, spend the afternoon exploring, then come back for dinner on the grill and an evening around the outdoor propane fire table. As the light begins to change, settle into the private hot tub and enjoy the mountain setting.

The hot tub is available year-round and is regularly serviced by a dedicated hot tub care team.

🍷 Explore

Shenandoah Twilight makes an easy home base for exploring the northern Shenandoah Valley.

The Appalachian Trail at Ashby Gap is about 9 minutes away, Sky Meadows State Park is about 15 minutes away, and Shenandoah National Park and Skyline Drive are about 20 minutes from the cabin.

Nearby wineries and breweries include Delaplane Cellars, Arterra Wines, Twisted Oak Farm Brewery, Capstone Vineyards, and Crimson Lane Vineyards.

Front Royal is also about 20 minutes away for restaurants, groceries, local shops, and additional outdoor recreation.

Other nearby favorites include Hollin Farms, Shenandoah Valley Golf Club, Front Royal Golf Club, Blue Ridge Shadows Golf Club, the State Arboretum of Virginia, and the Upperville area.

A vehicle is required for getting around the neighborhood and visiting nearby attractions, restaurants, wineries, hiking trails, and other destinations. Please note that while the property is accessed via entirely paved roads, 4WD or AWD may still be recommended or required during winter weather conditions.

🐕 Pet Policy • Up to 2 dogs are welcome at Shenandoah Twilight, and a per-pet fee applies. Additional dogs may be considered with prior approval. Service animals are always welcome. When possible, we appreciate advance notice so we can help our cleaning team prepare appropriately. For short-term rental stays in Virginia, emotional support animals are treated as pets rather than service animals, so they are subject to the same pet policies and per-pet fees.

🚼 Family-Friendly Amenities • We love hosting families and provide a pack ’n play, high chair, and children’s tableware to make traveling with little ones a bit easier.

🚗 Vehicle Access • The cabin is accessed via entirely paved roads, with the exception of the gravel driveway at the property itself. Standard vehicles can generally access the home without issue during normal conditions, though AWD or 4WD may be recommended or required during snow or icy weather.

🧯 Safety & Cleanliness • All bedding, linens, and towels are professionally laundered between each reservation. Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, fire extinguishers, and first aid supplies are provided.

🏡 Privacy • Shenandoah Twilight offers a peaceful mountain setting, though neighboring homes may be visible or nearby. You may occasionally notice neighbors, pets, vehicles on the nearby roads and community. We ask that you help preserve the quiet setting by keeping in mind that voices, music, and other noise can carry, especially when enjoying the hot tub, fire table, or outdoor spaces.

🔒 Security • There is an exterior Ring floodlight camera monitoring the driveway and front stairs. No interior spaces or the hot tub are included. We also use a Minut noise-decibel monitor in the kitchen to help us protect the home and the quiet of the community; it measures sound levels only and does not record audio.

🦌 Wildlife and Surroundings • The cabin is surrounded by nature, and it is common to see deer, birds, squirrels, rabbits, foxes, and the occasional black bear in the area. Please avoid leaving food, trash, or scented items outdoors, as these can attract wildlife. While the home is serviced by a professional pest control company, occasional insects may make their way inside.

🧹 Landscaping & Hot Tub Services • During your stay, our landscaping or hot tub care team may visit the property as needed. We will notify you in advance whenever possible. These visits are brief, exterior only, and do not require access inside the home. The hot tub is available year-round and is professionally maintained.

🌹 Add-on Experiences • We offer a variety of add-on experiences to make your stay feel even more special, including romantic touches, celebration décor, fresh flowers, bubbly, and other thoughtful upgrades.
